First month

Saturday 20 October, 15.05 This is going to be another phone post because of the lack of a computer at the moment. Today, one month ago, I arrived in Mexico. Time flies by, doesn't it?  And as like a present for this day I had a really good morning out on the beach working with the turtles. After a few days of walking 10-20 km in the morning (because the ATV failed), Lucio fixed it yesterday so we could cruise today. Also there has been some cold (22degrees!) weather and lots of rain the last days, so I was happy that this morning was promisingly warm and dry. So at 7am we left, to be honest with little hope to find nests or babyturtles as the last days were always 'empty'. But then we found to perfectly put nests with 92 eggs each and we came just in time to accompany 3 hatching nests on their way to the sea! :) We also saw some nice hawks and eagles and I tried some fresh Hicaco fruit which were offered to me at our daily meet up with 'El Capitan'. From the big city out to the nowhere

Monday 08 October 2018, El Raudal It has been more than a week since my last entry, and I feel like I need to update a lot! At the moment I am close to the Village El Raudal, in the State of Veracruz in Mexico. I am sitting in our community room/auditory/working space, with ocean view, slight breeze and homemade watermelon juice. So really o reason to complain! In this post I'll try to summarize my last days in Puebla and give a glimpse of where I am now and what I am doing. The second half of my week in Puebla I got to see another site of the city- the old center. Which is a huge contrast to the unorganized, sometime shiny, sometimes shady new areas with their malls, food courts and loads of cars. The architecture in center of Puebla is heavily influenced by the the Spanish which reflects in the 2 or 3 story houses with bright facades and balconies.
